For over 35 years, schools across the province have taken part in the ‘Walk for MS’ to help support people and families living with multiple sclerosis in Northern Ireland.  The support of local schools has enabled Action MS to offer an extensive range of support services.  All money raised stays in Northern Ireland, so by taking part in a ‘Walk for MS’, you are also supporting your local community.

Taking part in a ‘Walk for MS’ provides a terrific opportunity for your school to come together and help others.  It encourages pupils to develop a sense of compassion, whilst increasing their awareness of the difficulties some people face on a daily basis.

The ‘Walk for MS’ promotes the idea of citizenship, and allows pupils to make a real difference in their community.

The ‘Walk for MS’ is also a great chance for your school to participate in a really fun day out! Children enjoy getting out of the classroom and into the fresh air!
